On this guided tour through the old town, you will taste five selected wines in summer and four regional mulled wines in winter, all with historical connections to the places you will discover along the way. (Also available alcohol-free with four different grape juices, bookable by email) Your tour starts at the Porta Nigra and takes you through picturesque alleys, past Roman ruins, medieval buildings, and impressive churches. Step by step, the history of Germany's oldest city unfolds before you, accompanied by delightful tastings. The samples are accompanied by small bread sticks, while your guide explains how the wines are connected to the regional wine tradition. The tour ends at the cattle market square in front of the Forum Baths, an atmospheric conclusion to your culinary and historical journey through Trier.
